Board of Directors

The leadership of IBMGlobal is governed through its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of Bible-believing pastors, missionaries and laymen who have a burden for missions and who are in full agreement with the outlined policies and procedures of IBMGlobal. Board members should be committed to the Mission’s growth in godliness, professionalism, effectiveness and opportunities of development for IBMGlobal.

Larry Clouse

Larry graduated from Appalachian Bible College in 1967. After completing a Missionary Internship, he served as a church planter with Biblical Ministries Worldwide for ten years in the South Pacific. Following that he pastored in Pontiac, Michigan, for four years while serving as Professor of Missions at Midwestern Baptist College.

In 1981, he planted Merrimack Valley Baptist Church in New Hampshire. The church has grown to a membership of over 800 and has planted several churches. After serving as the pastor of Merrimack Valley Baptist Church for 34 years, he resigned in 2015 and now serves full time as the Director of IBMGlobal.

During his 40 years of ministry, his passion for world missions has not been diminished. He has ministered in over 35 different countries around the world and has been instrumental in starting and serving on several foreign mission boards.

Philip Hunt

Africa Field Director

Phil is a church planter in Zambia, Central Africa. In 1993, working in a team ministry, he and his colleagues started Faith Baptist Church of Riverside in the city of Kitwe. The church has been involved in a number of other church plants in the Kitwe area. Phil and Lori were also involved with the founding of Faith Children’s Village Orphanage.

Phil accepted Christ as his Savior shortly before his fifth birthday. As a teenager he surrendered his life to God to serve as a missionary. He attended Oklahoma Baptist College and at the same time pursued a private pilot’s license. In 1989 he married his wife Lori and they moved to Africa in March of 1992.

Phil’s vision is to see the gospel go to every village, town, and city in Africa. His passion is to train the next generation of God-called African leaders who will catch the same vision and will advance a truly indigenous church planting movement across the continent. For this reason he has dedicated his life to the establishment of Central Africa Baptist College and Seminary in Kitwe, Zambia.

Phil and Lori have been serving as missionaries in Africa since 1992. They are the parents of seven children: Cherith, Austin, Collin, Ashlyn, Carman, Tamaryn, and Corban.

After graduating from college in 1981, Steve taught in a Christian school in Tennessee for five years. He and his wife Etta then moved to Michigan and shortly thereafter to South Bend, Indiana, where they served in various lay positions in their church.

In 1992 God called them into missionary service, and they lived in Togo, Africa, until 2005. From 2005 to 2013 Steve served as an assistant pastor in South Bend, IN. In 2013 he became the Mobilization Director and Europe Field Director with IBMGlobal until June 2016.
