Chris & Jeanie Brown

Global

Chris & Jeanie began serving as missionaries in June 2000. Although new to IBMGlobal, they are not new to ministry. They married in 1988, began serving in their local church, and later founded an independent children’s ministry that eventually led them into full-time ministry. Realizing their desire to reach more people for Christ, they began serving with Word of Life Fellowship as Area Missionaries; they served in that capacity for nearly 17 years. After serving faithfully and seeing hundreds come to Christ, they began sensing the Lord leading them to take on a different role – one that would enable them to serve others on the front lines and allow them to fine-tune other skills the Lord had given them. They have one adult son, Nathan, who is an avid outdoorsman. They have lived in Northern Indiana for the past 35 years, and for the immediate future, their family will still reside there. Chris will work remotely from his home office but will come to the office in NH as needed for strategic planning meetings, projects, and training of the finance team.

After nearly 35 years of ministry, the Lord began preparing them for yet another change; with much prayer and counsel, they clearly watched God pave the way to IBMGlobal. They are looking forward to seeing how God will use them to not only support the IBMG team and their families but also serve, strengthen, and equip the many missionaries around the globe. The
Browns are multi-talented with skills in financial management, donor relations, organizational fundraising, organizational leadership, and mentoring. They embody the values of IBMGlobal and keep the ministry focus at the heart of all policy and procedure. They are both passionate teachers with a heart for children and youth.

As the Vice President of Finance and Administration, Chris oversees all business matters for IBMGlobal. Legally speaking, he holds the office of "Treasurer." In the business world his role would be Chief Financial Officer. He ensures that our financial policies and procedures meet all IRS qualifications yet remain simple and user-friendly for our staff. He will be leading the finance team and also provide training to our missionary staff. In addition to these aspects of ministry, Chris will assist in organizational fundraising and the overall business plan component which is essential to every effective ministry.

Jeanie has served as one of the administrative assistants to Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth at Revive Our Hearts Ministries for over five years. In addition to continuing to serve in that capacity for the time being, Jeanie already serves in a variety of administrative and training capacities for IBMG which will become more defined in time.

Like all of our leadership team, the Browns are support-based which enables IBMG to keep our administrative fees low. They are asking the Lord to provide more ministry partners who will join their prayer and financial support teams.
